We are pleased to inform you that CDH/AMLS release version 5.2 and CDH/FastFRS 2.2 (rev. 188) is now available. The latest CDH/AMLS and CDH/FastFRS release version offer following enhancements and corrections:

CDH/AMLS - Enhancements version 5.2.r188 compared to 5.2.r179

• DDB: added support for MSC-Nastran 2022.3 and 2022.4
• DDB: Bug fix for unsymmetric B2PP calculations for fluid
• DDB: Correction of the warning message issued in SOL 103 in case the method in EIGRL for normalizing eigenvectors specified with option MAX.
• EXE: minor enhancements

CDH/FastFRS - Enhancements version 2.2.r188 compared to 2.2.r179:

• DDB: Support of FastFRS usage in SOL 111 for fluid-only models with CAABSF absorber elements for NX/SC Nastran.
• DDB: Bug fix for handling the fluid damping defined in MAT10 for NX/SC- Nastran.
• EXE: Enable capability to support fluid-only computations that contain acoustic absorber elements (CAABSF/PAABSF).
• EXE: On AMD EPYC machines running SUSE Linux, FastFRS failed with the system message “error while loading shared libraries: libirc.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory”. This issue has been addressed by modifying the script that invokes the FastFRS executable, so that it does not reset LD_LIBRARY_PATH. If FastFRS runs on your system, you will not benefit from this modification, but if FastFRS fails in this manner, this fix should address the problem.

NX/SC: 12.0, 2020.1, 2020.2, 2021.1, 2021.2, 2022.1

CAUTION: End of support warnings

• Starting from AMLS 5.2 the Flexlm daemon v11.16 and an AMLS version 5.2 specific license file are required. The updated daemon and license file are backward compatible with legacy AMLS 5.1 versions. Please see installation manual for detailed instructions.
• This is the last AMLS release that officially supports the RHEL/CentOS 6.x operating system by default.
• This is the last AMLS delivery database release that officially supports MSC-Nastran 2018, 2019 and SimCenter/NX-Nastran 12, 2020.1, 2021.1 by default.
• In future releases only the latest sub-version of older Nastran releases will be supported by AMLS. For example for MSC 2021.0 - 2021.4, only latest sub-version MSC 2021.4 will officially be supported. Similarly, for NX-Nastran, 2021.2 will officially supported. Please upgrade to Nastran versions accordingly.
